Israel and Heather

Summer days have begun with an inspiring study tour through the Middle East. God's strategy for Israel on planet earth is described in the Bible and my eyes have been opened to the reality of this strategy as never before. The Bible seems as up-to-date as the daily newspaper. There is no other place that I would rather be than where God has placed me. Here in California I will implement with joy the plan God continues to unfold in my life. I begin to see that there is a connection between Israel's destiny and my own.

College Prep Seniors and AP Literature and Language students are the inspiration and the prize for whom I prepare during these weeks before school starts. I am especially blessed because "the Baby" of my six children is in the Senior AP Language class. Amberley is a tremendous reward to me. I am thankful for this task given me by God. My hobby has been" Learning More and Better" for as long as I can remember, and I am able to call this hobby "MY VOCATION". Life does not get any better than this!

Bible Study at First Baptist

Starting in September 1998, women who are among my dearest friends will study Judges, Ruth and 1 Samuel. I am looking forward to seeing familiar and new faces as we share in the power of studying God's Word.
I begin to understand why God worked through my beloved children and friends to help me get to the Middle East this summer. What a difference being "on the stage of Bible History" will make to how I read the Old Testament! My trip to Israel was not just a tour whim, but a trip for HIM!
